How to change the initial value of a node in Fusion

Question

Is there a way to change the initial value of a node in Fusion?

Answer

there is.

On the Fusion page, place the node whose initial value you want to change on the node editor, and set the initial value you want to use in the inspector.

Next, right-click the node and select Settings > Set as Default.
This will change the initial value the next time you place a node.

If you want to return to DaVinci Resolve's original default values, right-click the node and select "Reset to Default" under "Settings".

By the way, if I change the initial value of the font using Fusion's TEXT+, will the initial value of "TEXT+" that can be selected for effects on the edit page or cut page change?
I often get asked this question, but...this hasn't changed. "TEXT+" that can be selected as an effect on the edit page or cut page is not "TEXT+" itself, but is actually a Fusion composition that includes "TEXT+". Since it is a Fusion composition that has already been designed, it will not change.
