The official explanation video "DaVinci Resolve 17 Introductory Course" available on YouTube is also based on this guide.

Reference manual from this article

Differences from commercially available manuals (personal impressions)

The official beginner's guidebook seems to be just right for those who have worked with other video editing software and are using DaVinci Resolve for the first time.

There is not much difference between the two types of commercially available manuals, 300 pages and 462 pages, but the beginner's guide is overwhelmingly richer in information. It seems to me that there is about three times as much information packed into it. For that reason, I feel that there are many terms that beginners do not understand in beginner's guides.

The amount of information available on the market is inferior, but there is also a follow-up of terms, so I think it is just right when using video software for the first time.
