"The GPU failed to perform image processing because of an error. Error Core: -59" appears and the video in the media pool appears garbled. Please tell me how to resolve.
Answer
GPU settings may not be appropriate. Please check whether "GPU processing mode" of "GPU configuration" in "Memory & GPU" of "System" in Preferences is appropriate.
Recommendation is

is. Also, make sure that your graphics drivers are up to date.
Note that some Windows notebook PCs equipped with NVIDIA GPUs use either Intel CPU-equipped GPUs or NVIDIA GPUs for GPU processing depending on the PC situation and settings. In that case, please review the PC settings and set it so that the NVIDIA GPU can be used with DaVinci Resolve.
In the example below, OpenCL was selected despite the GPU from NVIDIA, which is not appropriate.
If you are using an NVIDIA GPU, check the GPU processing mode "Automatic" or select "CUDA" from the dropdown and restart DaVinci Resolve to see if the issue goes away. .
