Blackmagic Design's Japanese tutorial is available on YouTube.
It doesn't have a lot of features, so you can learn it all in an hour.
Basically, it is used on the cut page, but it can also be used on other pages, although it is limited.
The operation of the cut page becomes dramatically easier, so it is convenient to have it.
If you want to use it wirelessly, it will be connected via Bluetooth.
Compatible with Bluetooth version 4.0 or higher. Wired connection is done with USB Type-C.
Also, charging is via USB Type-C.
In 17.4 it is now also available for multicam editing on the edit page.
There is a light explanation in the introduction of new features in 17.4. Pressing CAM 1-9 numbers now switches to the selected one for the playhead location.
