What to do if firewall blocks "davincipaneldaemon.exe" "FusionScript services for Fusion Studio" "dpdecoder" "DaVinci Resolve Control Panels Setup"

Question

In the dialog "Windows Security Important Warning", the information that "davincipaneldaemon.exe", "FusionScript services for Fusion Studio", and "dpdecoder", which seems to be related to DaVinci Resolve, was blocked by Windows Defenfer Firewall. What should I do?

Answer

It is used for the following processes, all of which must be enabled.

  • davincipaneldaemon.exe
Executable file used to manage connections with peripherals available in DaVinci Resolve
  • FusionScript services for Fusion Studio
Services used by the Fusion function
  • dpdecoder
Executable file used for decoding R3D in REDraw format
  • DaVinci Resolve Control Panels Setup
Executable used to manage connections with peripherals available in DaVinci Resolve

It may appear immediately after installing DaVinci Resolve or due to changes in the OS or network environment.
I don't think you need to worry about the private network side, but if you are concerned about the public network, you can uncheck it.
Select <Allow access>.

davincipaneldaemon.exe
FusionScript services for Fusion Studio
dp decoder
